The graduate program does not routinely offer summer support for its Ph.D. students. Possibilities for summer support include:
- First year students are usually given a small summer fellowship from the Weill endowment.
- Students who have a good record in their TA assignments have the opportunity to teach a Mathematics course in the Rutgers summer session. Students interested in this should contact the Mathematics undergraduate office during the spring semester.
- Some (usually advanced) students may be supported by research grants of individual faculty members.
