Hill and Other Assistant Professor
Subject to availability of funding, the Department expects three open positions of this type.
These three-year non-renewable positions carry a reduced teaching load of 2-1 for research,
that is, two courses for one semester, plus one course for the other semester.
Candidates should have received the Ph.D., show outstanding promise of research
ability in pure or applied mathematics, and demonstrate capacity
for effective teaching.
