|I'll be in my office (Hill 542) on Friday, May 7, from 1 to 3 in the afternoon, and will be happy to answer questions. If many students show up, I'll find a room for us to work in and leave a message on my door. Also I'll be available on Monday, May 10, from 6 to 8 PM. I'll again be available on Tuesday, May 11, from 3 to 5 PM.|

Optional portions of the third exam will be available for students who wish to improve their grades in the first two exams. There is already a great deal of material available here for review of Laplace transforms and linear algebra.

Students are encouraged to submit answers to problems, and I hope that all students will send me at least one. |The Entrance "exam"||The purpose of this assignment is to give insight to students very
early in the course about some of the methods to be used. Familiarity
with all of the material tested here is necessary for success in this
course. Also students can see what the grading of the instructor is like!|
