I completed my PhD in Mathematics from Rutgers in October 2024, under the direction of Mike Saks. Previously, I received a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
Broadly speaking, I am interested in the behavior of stochastic processes on discrete structures. More concretely, I have studied randomized algorithms in a variety of contexts, including online graph algorithms, probability distributions based on the outcomes of multi-candidate election systems, and decision trees for Boolean functions. I am motivated by problems that are grounded in the real world; in particular, graph coloring is an abstraction of many optimization problems, notably scheduling and frequency assignment.
