Samuel Bach was the first to acquire the surname Bach.
He was born in 1779/1780 and died in 1870 at the age of 90. He was born as Samuel ben Gabriel.
He married Heffel (Heve, Eva) Kohn (1786/1787-July 7, 1874) on Oct. 3, 1816.
Samuel and Heffel Bach had the following children

Gabriel Bach (27th April 1818- 13th May 1818)

Isak Bach (?-?) who also died in infancy.

Golda Bach Mittel (March 3, 1823-?) who married S. Mittel
and lived in Oberstreu.

Meier Bach (July 1827- Feb. 28, 1906)
