Meier Bach was born on July 3, 1828. Around 1854, he married
Zerlina Kuhl Bach (June 14, 1831 - May 27, 1913) daughter of
Abraham Kuhl (1793-March 16, 186?) and Madel bat
Hayim Kuhl (Wuestensachsen, 1797-Unsleben(?), June 21, 1857).
Meier died on Feb. 28, 1906 at the age of 79,
and Zerlina Kuhl Bach died
on May 27, 1913, at the age of 82.
Larry Fried has kindly sent me a photo of their graves.

Rita had two sons, Benno (October 2, 1929 – October 10, 1936) and Manfred (April 26, 1932 – 1942). After the marriage of Rita with Arthur Kälbermann, they lived in Arthur’s home town, Apolda. After this tragic event, the Kälbermann family moved to Unsleben, living in the house of Rita’s father, Moses Bach, located next to the Unsleben post office. Rita’s son Benno, who died at the age of seven is buried at the Unsleben Jewish cemetery. Rita, Arthur and their second son, Manfred, were deported in 1942, and murdered soon after.
