For my thesis research, I'm investigating the distribution of closed geodesics in an arithmetic quotient of hyperbolic 3-space. The main area of my research is number theory, although my thesis project involves geometry and dynamics as well.

  • CCICADA Fellowship
    2015-2017

I'm very grateful to CCICADA and the Department of Homeland Security for funding my graduate studies in my third and fourth years and providing valuable opportunities to me in the form of research projects and internships.

  • AMS Graduate Student Chapter Leadership Award
    April 2016

Awarded to a member whose leadership and service to the Rutgers Math Department and to other mathematical communities is outstanding.

  • Janice Pattwell Fellowship
    2014-2015

This fellowship partially supported me during my second year of graduate studies.

  • Rutgers University GAANN Fellowship
    2013-2014

This fellowship supported me during my first year of graduate studies, allowing me to concentrate on passing my written qualifying exams.

  • University of Nebraska Math Department Chair's Prize
    May 2013

Awarded to one outstanding graduating undergraduate math major at UNL.

  • University of Nebraska Chancellor's Scholar
    May 2013
