Welcome to MAT 640:300 - Intro to Mathematical Reasoning
MAT 300 is an introduction
to fundamental abstract concepts common to all branches of mathematics. Special emphasis will be placed on developing the ability to understand and construct rigorous proofs.
There are weekly homework assignments, some quizzes, two in-class midterms, and a final exam.

There will be no make-ups. Anyone absent from a quiz or exam will receive a zero for that portion. To consider an
exceptional circumstance requires a letter from a Dean.
