How to Make Up for Not Doing As Well as you Wished in Exam I

To be eligible for the DEAL (take a Make-up Exam I the last day of classes and if your get more than 75 your course-grade will be the Final Exam's grade or the course-average, whatever is higher), You must do:

• Don't ask me or Mr. Schneider or Ms. Pudwell about the details of this "deal", since everything is described here. If anyone will ask me (or the TAs) questions whose answers are contained in this webpage, he or she will not be eligible for this "deal".
• submit, the last day of classes, ALL the FIVE practice exams 1 linked to below.
• • If you got less than 70 on Exam I, you must show up to all tutoring (MTh 7:40-8:30 OR 9:10-10:00 , Hill 705), unless you are sick or it conflicts with your schedule. If it conflicts with your schedule, (or for each time you were sick) you must instead do FOUR extra homework problems from the corresponding section from the book up to and including 14.6, that have not yet been assigned (and not the very easy ones).
  • If you got 70 or more on Exam I, then you don't have to go to Tutoring (of course you are welcome to come), but you must submit TWO extra homework problems from EACH section from the book covered up to and including 14.6, that have not yet been assigned.
• Do the Basic Skills and Math Etiquette worksheet
• Do all the current homework and submit it to the TA regularly, I will check with Ms. Pudwell and Mr. Schneider that you are in good standing.
• Get at least 70 in Exam II. If you got less, than you must do four extra homework problems also from each section covered by exam 2.
