Marko Schutzenberger is constituted by many people as a "crackpot" even though he is a respected Mathematician/CS/linguist. Why? Answer 3: Marco became one of the first distinguished scientists in the world to point out that a theory of evolution that depends on uniformly randomly occurring mutations cannot be the truth because the number of mutations needed to create the speciation that we observe, and the time that would be needed for those mutations to have happened by chance, exceed by thousands of orders of magnitude the time that has been available Source: combinatorics.org Question 4: Why was Dr.Z disappointed at the great Sir W. Timothy Gowers? Answer 4: Dr.Z was disappointed in Sir Timothy Gowers because, he, instead of disapproving of the disacceptances of Ted Hill's paper, went on to ridicule Hill's paper itself stating that it should have never been accepted in the first place. Dr.Z believed that the merit of the paper(which was a gem according to Dr.Z) was irrelevant to the disacceptance of the paper and that Sir W Timothy Gowers unjustly and immorally attacked the paper and tried to minimize the editorial injustice with great arrogance and insulted the judgement of other prominent mathematicians.
