Gian-Carlo Rota was an Italian-American mathematician and philosopher, who was also a professor at Massachusetts Instittue of Technology. He is credited with having a speciality in combinatorics.

2. Use the internet to find the quote of Rota about how useful pie exists.
PIE is but a special case of M¨obius inversion on
general Partially Ordered Sets (posets) where the

3. What does Recontres mean in French? Who made the problem up?
Recontres is French for "encounter."
