2. There are several Bernooulli's. Which Bernoulli is Bernoulli Random Variable named after?
Jacob Bernoulli

3. (Extra Credit) Find an interesting application to biology of gambler's ruin.

It can be applied to the idea that every species eventually goes extinct after a long time. In this case, in the gambler's ruin, going "broke" means the species goes extinct eventually. We can model a population of a species where we specifify probability of speciation and extinction at each time interval.
