Yukun Yao

Math Ph.D. Student at Rutgers
Interested in Combinatorics and Experimental Mathematics

Me

Indubitably, mathematics is my passion. Besides, I like playing tennis, saxophone and piano and enjoy watching football and soccer. I support Rafael Nadal, New England Patriots and Manchester United. My preferred English name is Rafael because of the obvious reason.

Alma Mater

Before coming to Rutgers, I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Peking University in July, 2015.

Traveling

Traveling is one of my favorites in life. I have been to 6 continents, 33 countires and territories, more than 30 states in the U.S. and nearly all provinces in China. The picture was taken in Salar de Uyuni in January, 2017 when I was traveling in Bolivia and Peru.

Research

My research interests are combinatorics and experimental mathematics. My advisor is Professor Doron Zeilberger.
