2026 Almgren Memorial Mayday Race Results
(May 3, 2026)

The NYU Math Team won the 50th annual Fred Almgren memorial race, with a time of 2:42. Rutgers Physics came in second.
There were 10 teams competing this year, from Rutgers, Princeton, NYU and the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS).
This year, while all teams started at 10:00 at Washington Road (Princeton), half of each "fun" teams stopped in East Millstone;
their second half started at 11:00 in East Millstone and finished at Landing Lane (New Brunswick).
The RU Physics α runner for the first leg injured her ankle, leading to an eventual disintegration of the team.
