2024 Almgren Memorial Mayday Race Results
(May 5, 2024)

The NYU Math Team won the 48th annual Fred Almgren memorial race on a rainy day, with a time of 2:50. Rutgers Math came in second.
The race stated with 7 teams, but one team disintegrated, and only 6 finished. For the first time in decades, there was an all-women team: "Witch" (Women's International Theorem-conjuring Conspiracy from Hill).
There was some confusion during the race. When the incoming runner for the RU Fun team arrived at East Millstone, the outgoing runner for the Witch team started, but the Fun team's runner did not. When the incoming runner for the Witch team did arrive, with no teammate to continue, the timers told the remaining Fun team runner to start.
