There was some confusion during the race. The "slow" teams for Rutgers Math and Rutgers Physics were actually ahead of their "fast" versions during part of the race; the Math B team was ahead of the Math A team from 10-mile locks to Griggstown, and the Physics C team was ahead of the Physics B team from 10-mile locks until East Millstone, when a bystander ran leg 4 in boots. One team disappeared near Griggstown, and went to lunch. To round out the fun, the Princeton Math B team shared the first and last runner with the A team, creating a virtual gap of 22 minutes.
The next race will be Sunday May 6, 2018, from Princeton to Rutgers.
