Click here for a general description of the race and its history.

The Princeton Computer Science team was the winner of the 32nd annual Fred Almgren memorial race trophy, winning with a time of 2:47:30, at a pace of 6:30 minutes/mile. Second and third places went to the Princeton Awesome Psych team (the defenders) and Princeton Fast Math team.

This year (2007), there were fifteen teams competing, a new record. (The previous record, set in 1986, was 9 teams.)
The race was made especially interesting this year because of the poor condition of the towpath after a recent storm, with runners jumping over trees and skirting washed-out sections in places. Two teams had runners who showed up late, and one team's 5th leg was run later in order to determine a virtual team time. Another team consisted of a single person, running the entire 25.7-mile course.

The results are presented below in a series of tables :

Notes: The runners for Team ASHA II did not arrive at E.Millstone or Blackwells Mills; the runner for leg 3 continued through leg 4, and the team ran leg 5 (Blackwells-Griggstown) about an hour later. The time for leg 5 was added in to times for legs 6&7 to give a virtual overall team time.

Thanks Scott Schneider biked the entire route before the race, so that we were aware of the storm damage and the state of repairs.
Thanks also go to the many timers of this year's race! They were: Chuck Weibel, Scott Schneider, Nithya Murthy, Crystal Hall, Ted Laird, Jessica Salvatore and Massimo Fornasier.
