The Princeton Physics team were the winners of the 2002 Fred Almgren memorial race trophy, defending their title with a time of 2:34, at a pace of 6:11 minutes/mile. This year, there were eight teams competing. The Rutgers Undergraduate team ran the third leg in the wrong direction, and their team time was computed "virtually." The Princeton Applied Math team was formed like a Feynman diagram, starting and ending with one runner but with two runners on several intermediate legs. The results are presented below in a series of tables :

PPA = Princeton Physics team 'A' PPB = Princeton Physics team 'B' PM = Princeton Math - Team 1 PAM = Princeton Applied Math (a and b) RUA = Rutgers Math - Team 1 RUB = Rutgers Math - Team 2 RUC = Rutgers Math - Team 3
