The final exam will consist of these three problems, plus three other problems taken from the first and second midterms for which you have the solutions, plus six problems for which you don't have the solutions.
REMINDER: I will hold office hours on Tuesday, May 1, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In addition, if you wish to see me at some other time, you may schedule an appointment (for example, on Wednesday afternoon) by sending me e-mail.

My course on INTRODUCTION TO MATHEMATICAL REASONING (Mathematics 300, section 08) meets on Tuesday and Thursday th period (6:10 to 7:30 pm) in Murray Hall 211, College Avenue Campus.

TEXTBOOK AND INSTRUCTOR'S NOTES: We will be using

the book A Transition to Advanced Mathematics (seventh edition), by Douglas Smith, Maurice Eggen, and Richard St. Andre ,
the notes written by the instructor, which will be posted in this Web page and distributed to the students as they become available. .

The material of the instructor's notes is an integral part of the course, as much as that of the book.
