[Source](https://www.pnas.org/content/116/42/20875)](img/thin-sheet.jpg) I work in mathematical material science, using tools from PDE, calculus of variations, and geometric measure theory. My thesis work concerns the effective equations (Gamma convergence) of nonlinear elasticity. I am additionally interested in variational problems arising in other aspects of material science, such as fluids and plasticity. My advisor is [Ian Tobasco](http://www.iantobasco.com). We began my PhD at [MSCS @ UIC](https://mscs.uic.edu), and joined Rutgers as of Fall 2023. ## Presentations 1.
