What do you like best about this course?:

She was always helping with any question we had. She was great

clear and understandable

Recitation

Reviewing homework

I love math in general.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

I would hold more office hours. One day was not enough.

none

I would probably do more examples

Review more questions that would be similar to exam

Have at least two study sessions prior to exam days.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Helped us understand concepts and we worked in class problems that were difficult for the class.

There is a lot of thinking involved in this course

She's explained the concepts really well so I can remember them.

Other comments or suggestions::

My only problem is, why homework if we are not handing it in? It would have been great if we were tested in one of the hw problems. Like, we were assigned lets say problems 1, 3, 5. and we were tested on 2 and 4. Oh. That was is nice.

Be on time for class, spend more time going over example problems about all sections. Usually, we never get to all of the sections in recitation, so the quiz always feels somewhat unfamiliar.

I really only took this course because I have to, but Becky is a fantastic instructor. The material is very difficult, but Becky always knew what she was doing and was very good at explaining the material. She was also very patient with the class and answered every question we had. I wish we had more time in class to go over examples because I think that would have helped on the quizzes.

none.
