Basic Information

• Lecturer: Dr. Nathan Corwin

• Lectures: Monday and Wednesday's:

  1:40pm-3:00pm in Hill Center 116 for sections 01-03

  3:20pm-4:40 PM in SERC 210 for sections 04-06

• Lecturer's Office Hours: Tuesday 1:00-2:30pm, Thursday noon-1:30pm, or by appointment in Hill 517.

  Your TA will also have office hours.

• Textbook: A special Rutgers version (with ISBN 1-4641-0376-3) of Jon Rogawski; Calculus: Early Transcendentals (second edition); W.H. Freeman Company, 2012. Note: this book is used for Math 151, 152, and 251.

• Special Permission: Not available from course instructors. Go to www.math.rutgers.edu and follow the links to Special Permission. Make sure to follow the directions carefully.

• I will try to keep this page updated. The Sakai course page will have all this information and more.

Information for Final Exam

• The Final exam is Monday, December 15th, from 4-7pm in Scott Hall room 123.

• No one will be allowed into the room until it has been prepared. Once allowed into the room, no notes will be allowed as the exams will be on the desks.The exam will begin soon after you enter the room.

Information for exam 2

• The second exam is in lecture on Wednesday, November 12th

• There are no notes allowed, this is a closed book exam

• No calculator is allowed. This includes your cell phone. If I can see it, it is considered cheating.

• The review problems that you see below are just a collection of exercises that may help you to understand some of the concepts and techniques of the first part of Math 151. The review problems are NOT an indication of the type of question that you will see on the second midterm exam. Your second midterm exam is likely to have many questions that do not resemble any of the questions on the review sheets.

I think that they are a good review, but you should not neglect your notes from lecture, your homework assignemnts, and the text book while studying.
