Pre-requisites:   CALC II - Second-semester calculus or 01:640:136 or 138.

Textbook:  Spence, Insel and Friedberg, Elementary Linear Algebra: A Matrix Approach, 2nd edition. ISBN #978-0-13-187141-0, Pearson Prentice-Hall.

Calculators:   Neither required for the course nor permitted on the exams.

Attendance Policy:   Students are expected to attend ALL the lectures. 4th of July is a holiday. Each lecture in a summer session contains a lot of information and the course moves very fast. It is very important not to miss any of the lectures. If you are planning to use the campus buses, please note that the frequency of campus buses is quite low during summer.
