What do you like best about this course?:

It really helps in understanding the material taught in lectures more.

Jason Saied is AMAZING at explaining Calculus!! NO JOKE! He understands how I am thinking about it and says it all out very clearly in a way that makes it click!! Having him as a supplement to the lectures was essential for my performance in the class! He hit all the little details clearly and effectively!

The TA.

being able to reinforce materials i learned in lecture

A great TA, much better than professor. Since he has the same age as us, it feels friendly.

The review he goes over before giving us our workshop is very helpful. Wish there were more of it.

The extra time to nail down the material

Jason is so nice to answer your questions in the way you could understand it well.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Nothing.

Nothing having to do with my TA, he was AMAZING! The only thing is that I found workshop problems to be very tedious, irritating and irrelevant (which is not my TA's fault because the problems are supposed to be more difficult than the material we were being tested on). I think weekly quizzes would have been much more beneficial to the students because they would really help everyone by forcing them to go over the material in a timely manner. I'm almost positive that there would be an increase in performance on exams if this would be implemented.

Review the lessons more.

Since we have recitation after lecture, teach the material that was just taught in class

I feel its excellent, I enjoy it. I truly have nothing to make it better.

Review more material in class rather than give useless workshops.

Nothing

nothing

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

I have understood concepts more clearly.

He is so approachable and knowledgeable, and more so- he's able to communicate his knowledge clearly and effectively, so that it clicks!

He has increased my understanding of the course.

Taking the most difficult topics and explaining them to help reinforce material

Yes

The course is important to my career and I am still encouraged to try hard.

Showed me that practicing problems rather than memorizing equations is a much better studying technique

encourage me to continue learning math

Other comments or suggestions::

Recitation really helped me with understanding the formulas and how to do certain problems in this class.

Jason is a great teacher, but the classes themselves seem useless.
