What do you like best about this course?:

Got the opportunity to ask questions as the instructor had inconvenient office hours and was generally busy.

That Jason would go step by step on each problem and also explain the little details that usually gets skipped over in lecture.

I can do many mathematical questions to review the concepts. During the class, I can ask Jason questions if I meet some problems.

The review sessions were very helpful and Jason responded to every question. Jason is a good dude.

Jason would explain something that we learned in a different manner where it was easier to grasp during the recitation. He also asked the class if anything he said made any sense, and if it didn't, he would try to explain it differently.

This course was extremely helpful and allowed appropriate time to answer questions effectively.

The amount of student input is vast and feels more like going to a professor's office hours.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Recap the material more instead of just picking and choosing what to go over. Also, weekly write ups did not help at all.

draw the axis on graphs on the chalkboard(everything else was perfect, I don't know why this annoyed me)

No.

None.

Quizzes over workshops would be more effective in learning course material.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Best Guy

The instructor encouraged questions and learning in Calculus.

Jason was extremely patient with teaching the material and also has a deep understanding of calculus. I learned a lot more than I ever had before about math by just going to lecture and office hours. Math is a very intuitive subject, so I feel that Jason was really able to not only help me build up my knowledge, but also my intuition on how to approach problems.

Practicing more questions in order to improve the exam grades.

I understand calulus

This course helps further explain course material in a different perspective than lectures.

He was very helpful

Other comments or suggestions::

A good TA makes or breaks a course, and this semester I happened to be really lucky. I really saw my growth in math rise because of my TA.

No suggestions.

None

Going over workshops from previous weeks once it has been handed back can help those who may have gotten it wrong.
