What do you like best about this course?:

I like that there wasn't a ton of homework

That the midterms were similar to the notes.

The professor gave great lectures!

Material taught in a good format, expected to understand a fair amount of material, all exams were fair

The way he taught and how the homework assignments were set up so you can see your mistakes and have practice problems to help you along.

The lectures were great and very helpful

The professor teaches very well by using a lot of examples to help us to understand the concept.

The enthusiasm of the teachers really helps us learn and gives us interest in the subject.

All the practice problems we do

He wanted his students to learn rather then not caring about them, he gave tips and practice problems that helped us through

The professor is very enthusiastic and efficient when answering students' questions.

Very engaging class. Each class was well prepared and instructions were very clear to understand.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

I would NOT make the tests intentionally and excessively difficult

If I were teaching this course, I would want to provide more study material to my students.

I would encourage students to derive all trigonometric integrals. It helped me a great lot in boosting my confidence in the material.

Nothing

Make the exams less difficult, or worth less. I am a terrible test taker, and I know I worked on the workshops and my homeworks as hard as I could have and I wish they were worth more to reflect that effort.

Allow more time to pass between the last class and the final exam. It makes no sense that I am still learning on Monday and have to take a final on Thursday.

Make the first exam easier.

I would go a bit slower, his lectures are pretty intense

I may prepare more parctise quesions for students.

Be more understanding and encourage student interaction. Do review sessions. Be more FLEXIBLE.

More practice problems provided in addition to WebAssign would be beneficial as a means of studying for exams.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

He's taught me calculus ii

He told us to study for exams.

I have learnt this is the hardest class, and a "weed out" class. I aced it! So I am more confident in the Math aspects of Engineering and Physics.

Helped me further realize my interest in math

Many, this is my second time taking this course and I felt as though I truly learned a lot more in this class and it was a more conducive learning environment.

Joe's lectures were great and his office hours were really helpful. He was very encouraging and helped me to understand the concepts of the problems that I am doing

Yes, definitely

To study a lot harder

It definitely helped to engage in better study habits and to focus better during class.

Thank you for a good semester and witty jokes, I am going to miss this class.

Try to be more nice because the students already go through a lot of bad stuff.
