A confession can be, according to a dictionary, "An open profession of faith" but in this case I mean the word in a more routine way, as "an admission of misdeeds or faults."

The diary for 421:01 in fall 2005 will borrow a great deal from the diary of the course in fall 2004. I certainly don't think the fall 2004 version of the course was perfect, but I will probably borrow examples and explanations freely. I'll change the pace of the course a bit, and as for exams, I will certainly change the answers, and possibly also the questions.
