Certainly we should know who is important because, after all, this could affect who and what we believe. So here is a catalog of those people you are likely to encounter in a Math 151 classroom. Of course, we could imagine even less likely but fantastically more important individuals such as, for example, someone standing on a horse which is balanced on an elephant. Those images shown probably represent most of what you will see this semester. I hope.
