What do you like best about this course?:

Fei Qi's office hour availability and tutoring, and his willingness to help his students.

Fei goes out of his way to write notes on recitation material and post it on Sakai. His notes really helped me learn the material.

Everything was interseting

Learning about differential equations and how it applies to the engineering world.

The recitation for 640:244 was great, Fei Qi went over the material that was being covered in lecture very thoroughly yet succinctly. The notes that he provided about the course material were an excellent resource which I frequently used.

nothing. its math.

The instructor was a pleasure to have. One could tell that he wants his students to do exceptionally well, which I respect greatly. He was well prepared and did extremely well in delivering the course material to the students.

You manage time well, work hard for us, Thx so much

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Have less time consuming quizzes.

Nothing

Nothing

Not include calculus 2 material.

Longer recitations, shorter lectures

more practice exams.

The only thing I would do differently is that I would ask the lecturer to have more of an impact on choosing the homework assignments. Most of the homework problems we do are practically useless; they need to be reviewed thoroughly in order to remain relevant for the exams.

I felt this course only showed you how to do the problems, without actually teaching you the derivations behind it.

You done the best

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

He hasn't

In an instructive way

None.

none

The instructor has assisted greatly in mental mathematical development. I am glad I had this instructor!

Thx so much help me understand more

Other comments or suggestions::

Everything was perfect

My only suggestion to Mr. Qi is to pace himself a little better - although I understand there is a lot of material to over in only 55 minutes, during which we must take a 10 min quiz.

Thank you!

The best TA I ever see, Thx so much for helping, and working very hard, your notes are the best stuff to study
