A simple proof of the Hales-Jewett theorem

This talk will give a simple proof of the Hales-Jewett theorem in combinatorial number theory, and deduce from it van der Waerden's thereom, Gallai's theorem (the multi-dimensional Van der Waerden theorem), and other results.
