Homework: Homework will be collected and graded online by the graduate student grader Brittany Gelb. Homework assigned on the material of Monday's meeting is due by 5pm on Thursday. Homework assigned on the material of Wednesday's meeting is due by 5pm the following Tuesday. Collaboration on homework is allowed and encouraged, but everyone must submit their own write-ups (no copy-paste). Homework will be worth a maximum of 100 points for the entirety of the semester.

Midterm exams: We will have two in-person midterm exams on October 6 and November 10. Each midterm exam will be worth a maximum of 100 points.

Missed exam policy: Missed exams will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have missed or are about to miss an exam, you should contact me by email as soon as possible.

Grading: The grades will be given according to total points accumulated over the course of the semester. The precise grading scale/curve is to be determined.

Help: In the beginning of each class we will discuss some homework problems for the material of the last lecture. Additional help is available if you have trouble with homework or lecture material. My office hours are the first place to start.
