What do you like best about this course?:

nothing

She is always enthusiastic in the materials

quizzes that students have to take during recitation cause it was helpful to me, through that i know what i was doing wrong and it checks your knowledge that how mush do you understand this particular topic and do you know.

It was taught in a manner where teamwork is encouraged but where individual skill sets are tested and enhanced.

The group settings that we could work in.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

I would be less aggressive to students, actually teach and have an open atmosphere to ask questions and get help, and not try to intimidate and harass students

Brooke tends to be overbearing at points, does not respond overly well to questions, and often has an attitude. its fortunate that the lecturer, Kevin Noone, is so good as it is needed to balance out the recitation instructor

i was teaching this course, i would explain students that hey look this is how i am supposed to grade this workshop as shown in the syllabus but ill grade your first two-three workshop lightly but still comments on them so the students know how they are suppose to write and after third or fourth paper be a little bit strict with them. so this little points helps student in this course.

Seeing examples of prefect workshop write ups would've helped correct mistakes early in the semester.

Be less rude, very intimidating toward student questions.

I would be a bit more lenient in the grading process as not all students always fully grasp the material. I would also try to facilitate a better understanding so that the students can confidently answer the workshop questions.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

this class have me anxiety attacks and fainting from stress so I had to learn to deal with that

the way she goes over each section in the recitation which helps our mind to wake up and her office hours helps through online especially cause whenever you need helps with anythings her explanation helps even though its not in person. instructor knows how to explain for all the students, the different way they understand.

The instructor has encouraged to always think differently when problems are too difficult and has helped adapt different study techniques during review sessions.

Other comments or suggestions::

different TA would have given a completely different experience

Brooke is clearly very knowledgeable on the material she taught us and made a lot of the confusing topics much more clear.

just make sure to remember about the workshop for the other future students.

Review more, listen to students, ease into workload, grading is quite peculiar difficult and unheard of.
