What do you like best about this course?:

The chance to truly engage with calculus and be surrounded by those who shared that interest

The review in the beginning of the recitation really cleared up things about the subjects from the two prior classes. I enjoyed how the instructor was very casual and friendly to all the students.

What I like best about this course is that the instructors are very friendly and informative and make the places where we learn more a peer to peer environment that helped me understand the material much better.

I enjoyed learning calculus and it was nice to have all the practice problems that were provided

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

I would encourage better structure regarding group work/workshops

I would not always force group work onto people that sometimes work better alone.

If I were teaching this course I don't think that I would do too many things differently as I feel like they made sufficient effort to include important examples into our learning process.

I would not change anything

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Brooke was a very articulate and diligent instructor. She encouraged me to approach my work more carefully.

The recitation made me have to know the material to be ready for the quizzes that happened randomly.

Many of the things that I was able to learn in the course have slowly changed in the sense that they have become easier to understand and apply as the course went over time because of the different thought processes that were used in class.

Ive always loved math, it was very interested=sting to see someone so invested in the topic, especially having never seen it in a college setting. I would love to take mathematics courses beyond my requirements because of this

Other comments or suggestions::

I understand that working in groups can be beneficial to many, but some people work better alone and forcing them to work in a group can make then uncomfortable. Overall it was an enjoyable recitation, thanks for making math easier to deal with.
