General Information

This is the course page for the sections of 250 in the regular format.

There is also one MATLAB section of 250 with its own course page 640:250C Introduction to Linear Algebra with MATLAB .

More about the course and its history can be found from the main course page.

The textbook for this course is

Spence, Insel, & Friedberg: Elementary Linear Algebra: A Matrix Approach ,   Prentice-Hall   (ISBN # 0-13-716722-9).

The Rutgers bookstore sells the text (required) and the student solution manual (recommended but not required).

The authors of the textbook also have a companion   web site containing supplementary material.
