I enjoyed reading your ode to John Nash, opinion 144. Your memories of the details of the Nash seminar and dinner on April 21, 2005 coincide exactly with my own. I would only add that Dr. Nash wore his celebrity status with grace, patience, and good humor: After the seminar I remember a long line of (what I assumed to be) undergraduates queuing up to meet him and ask him to autograph their DVD copy of A Beautiful Mind, and/or to pose with him while a friend snapped a photograph. He cheerfully obliged until all had left satisfied. I suspect many of those autograph/photograph seekers never entered Hill Center before or since, but will fondly remember that afternoon as one of the highlights of their time at Rutgers.
