Dr. Z! Never had a more passionate math teacher! His handouts are also helpful to review for exams and to help with the homework.
Dr. Z made the material interesting, relatable to major and enjoyable. i was able to understand why this materiel is important and also the ideas behind the teachincs

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:
Not schedule this class at 8:40 AM. Also, I wish the second exam was given earlier. I would like to join the second chance club (because he admitted that the test was harder and longer than he planned), but since the exam was given at the end of the semester, I already have term papers and final projects due at the same time as the lengthy requirements for the second chance club.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:
I liked how he started his lectures with how diff eqs apply to the real-world. It motivates me to care about diff eqs in my life. I also like how he spells out these complicated math problems very carefully. The way he teaches encourages me that I can learn calculus and get a good grade.
His notes, and his website in general are so organized and helpful, he give you all the tools you need during lecture and after it. Also asking student to participate in the class lecture help to keep me engage and awake.
He is very charismatic and makes the subject simple to understand.
He encouraged us to learn the material and ask questions.
I'm very excited to continue learning more math as i continue on with my degree

My only slight problem besides the lecture time is that sometimes Dr. Z yells a lot. Even though it is great at waking me up in the morning, it can be a bit too much some times.
His excitement is good for an 8:40am class.

Be more careful in class, occasionally the examples get convoluted after 1 or 2 silly mistakes
Professor gets nervous very easily, and when he starts yelling I honestly fear for his health
