The benefits of becoming a member of ONLY SCC II
If you qualify for membership, then your course grade will be computed in
two ways. The first way is the usual way,
counting everything, the
second way only using the grades of Exam 1, and the quizzes and the Final exam divided by 400 and multiplied by 500.
Whatever is higher, is your
final course score that would determine your grade,
according to the scale:
450-500:A ;
420-449: B+ ;
390-419: B ;
360-389: C+ ;
315-359: C ;
270-314: D ;
0-269: F . No Curve!.

Have at most three absences this whole semester, and every absence excused by a doctor's note or
other good reason.
-

-
For EVERY real quiz, starting at real Quiz 5, and for EVERY attendance quiz starting at attendance quiz 10,
make up TWO similar problems and do them completely, in your own handwriting.
-
For every question in Exam 2 that you did not get completely right,
explain what you did wrong, convince me that you understood your mistake, and
make up THREE similar problems and solve them completely.
-
Put all this stuff in an envelope with your name in block capitals, and labeled "sccII"
-
Slide the envelope with the completed problems
under my office's door, Hill 704, by May 12, 2019, 8:00pm. [Note Extended deadline ]
