Privileges
If you qualify for membership, then your course grade will be computed in
two ways. The first way is the usual way,
counting everything, the
second way only counting, the quizes, the project, and the final exam divided by 400
and multiplied by 500.
Whatever is higher, is your course grade,
determined according to the scale:
450-500: A ;
420-449: B+ ;
390-419: B ;
360-389: C+ ;
315-359: C ;
270-314: D ;
0-269: F No Curve!.
What do you need to do in order to join the Second Chance Club?

Don't write me Email asking me questions whose answers are clearly stated in this page.

Be in good standing as far as homework.

All absences must be excused.

For every problem that you got wrong in the midterm exam, explain what you did wrong, and make up TWO
similar problems and solve them.

For each of the real quizzes, make up a similar problem and solve it.

These extra problems are due Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, 6:00pm.
