2008 Almgren Memorial Mayday Race Results
(May 4, 2008)

The Rutgers Math Fast Fourier Transforms were the winners of the 32th annual Fred Almgren memorial race trophy, winning with a time of 2:48. It was one of the closest races in years, with 5 lead changes; Princeton Psychology and Rutgers Physics A both finished one minute later. This year (2008), there were eleven teams competing, the second largest number of teams ever.

There was also a parallel canoe event, which only finished one leg of the race.

The results are presented below in a series of tables :

  • TABLE 1 : 2008 teams and overall times
  • TABLE 2 : Team split times
  • TABLE 3 : 2008 Participants and their times
