Messages and schedule changes

• The final exam will be held on Friday, December 21 from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in Hickman 211 (note change of room.). It will be cumulative, covering our work for the entire semester. This is described on the syllabus, subject to the changes and corrections described below.

  • I will hold another problem session on Thursday, December 20, at 12:00 Noon, in Hill 425. (This was formerly announced as office hours).

• Please note several changes in the syllabus originally distributed.

  • The sections covered during the second lecture should have been listed as 1.6 and 2.1-2.3.

  • The topics for Chapter 4 were a bit mixed up. We have covered all of Chapter 4 excpt Sections 4.8.2, 4.8.3, and 4.8.4.

  • Section 7.4 has been omitted.

  • The final exam is on December 21.
