Required Homework Problems

There will be 12 homework assignments.  Assignments will normally be due on Thursdays, though three will be due on Mondays. Each assignment will be graded on a scale of 0 – 10 and the sum of the ten best homework assignments will be the homework grade.  Solutions to homework problems will  be posted on this website about 24 hours after the homework is due and late assignments will not be accepted after that time. (Students who cannot submit an assignment on time for a serious reason, e.g., illness, may be excused from that assignment.  See me if this applies to you.)

It should be the edge going to the left from the center vertex. This edge has weight 5 while the edge labeled number 8 in the solution has weight 6.
