What do you like best about this course?:

teaching methods that incorporate more class participation

The engagement offered a reason to take in the information without as much effort or pressure as the lecturer's lessons offered.

Mr. Devlin was enthusiastic and seemed genuinely interested in teaching the students in his class. He was humorous and encouraged questions. He was the best recitation teacher that I have had.

I liked how the instructor took time to go over any questions we had about homework or lecture notes.

The concepts are simple if you understand them.

He was overall a great guy and taught the material in such a way that it was easy to understand

The TA. He knows what he's talking about and how to get it across to students.

Great TA who actually teaches us

the amount of help and care the professor put in

The instructor

The T/A was very nice and easy to understand

Pat's energy and how friendly he was

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

increase the recitation hours for the course

Nothing. Alright, I might be a bit less enthused about teaching the class, but that is not a good thing.

I would go over similar problems that are on the quiz.

I'd be fair with partial credit

Give retakes on the quizzes and tests

Nothing it is fine as is

Be the professor instead of just the TA.

Fire Perelman and make Pat a professor

Nothing

do more questions like on the quiz

I think Pat did a fine job teaching this class

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

He went above and beyond not only on the course materials but also other topics related to the Math

By teaching the course materials in such a way that everyone actually paid attention to what he was saying. I did not come close to falling asleep even once. And I hate math classes.

encouraged more practice

Instructor has made me feel more confident about Calculus.

He made me actually want to learn and work hard

always pushed the students to acheive

he was really nice and answered all questions

Normally Calc teachers don't do this for me, Pat is one of the first
