TEXTBOOK: Jon Rogawski's 'Calculus Early Transcendentals', W.H.Freeman, second edition. The Rutgers custom edition has been augmented with some Rutgers "local matter," which is also available here. Other than that, the Rutgers custom edition and the standard edition are the same; you can use either one.

problems, general information about the course, important
announcements,
practice test problems etc.
GRADING: Midterm 1: 100 points; Midterm 2: 100 points; Final exam: 200 points; Workshop write-ups: 75 points; Textbook Homework: 50 points. Total: 525 points
EXAMS
Midterm 1: October 4 in the class.
Midterm 2: November 11 in the class.
Final: December 19, 4-7pm, location TBA.
HOMEWORK: During each Thursday
workshop, three workshop
problems will be assigned; your written solution of one of the problems
which will be announced at the end of a day is due on the
following Thursday. In addition, during each Thursday, a set of
ten homework
textbook problems will be assigned; these are due together with the
workshop problem on the following Thursday, at the beginning of the
workshop.
No late homework or write-up will be accepted, the two lowest homework
grades will be dropped. Your
exposition should be correct, clear, and complete.
