Abstract: We'll discuss inquiry-based instruction (which is a either a type of or synonymous to "active learning", depending on whom you ask) in mathematics courses, including what it is, teaching techniques, methods of implementations in calculus courses versus higher-level math, and its effects on student learning.

Abstract: We'll be talking about several things related to academic integrity at Rutgers. We'll discuss the current state of affairs in the department, the process for reporting Academic Integrity Violations, and how people have discussed these issues with students in the past. We will also spend time on, and hopefully come to come conclusions about, how to engage students and motivate them not to cheat on assignments.
