Ideally these will align completely with how we want to teach the class (and what we are teaching). Now that we've talked a lot about the Calculus sequence, we can try to see how these systems connect with our new ideas of grading, workshops, and class structure.

Abstract: We will discuss the impetus for having a workshop or active learning component to math courses in general and introductory calculus courses in particular. We will explore some of the inspiration for the current "workshop" model at Rutgers, as well as discuss how most workshop currently run, and hopefully come up with ideas and a model for what workshops could look like in the future.
