Current Interests:
- I am now a Computational Mathematics
Scientist at the Pacific Northwest
National
Laboratory in Richland, WA. I am in the Computational
Mathematics group within the Computational Sciences and
Mathematics Division. I am
involved in projects studying:
- mathematical foundations
of ontologies,
- modeling and searching in semantic
graphs (typed, directed graphs), and
- pKa
calculations.
- I am interested in rational
difference equations, integer
sequences, combinatorics, graph theory, order theory, and experimental
math.
- I was a DHS Graduate
Fellow Spring 2008 - Fall 2010. For more info about DyDAn,

their websites. In connection with this I am interested in view
discovery in large databases, sensor location problems, and ontology
alignment.
- I attended the weekly Experimental
Math seminar organized by my
adviser Professor Doron
Zeilberger. I
also attended the weekly Graduate
Combinatorics Seminar organized
by Kellen Myers.
Organizing:
- I was on the student
organizing committee for the DIMACS/CCICADA
Student Workshop on Where the Mathematical and Computational Sciences
Meet Society, a workshop aimed
at helping undergraduates understand
how research in the sciences can be applied to problems in society.
- I have helped to organize
the DIMACS/CCICADA Student Run Seminar.
It is currently being organized by Brian Thompson (Rutgers CS), Scott
Kulp (Rutgers CS), and Bobby Demarco (Rutgers Math).
- I was on the logistics
organizing committee for a conference in
honor of Doron Zeilberger's 60th birthday. The conference is called
"From A=B to Z=60" and information can be found at the
conference website.
