Some of the most beautiful and surprising mathematical arguments involve applying linear algebra in situations where it seemingly has no business appearing. The textbook collects many of the nicest such examples. The ``miniatures" are of varying degrees of difficulty and can be read independently of each other; so we will pick and choose rather than proceeding linearly. Most of the lectures will be presented by the students. Selection of topics will be collaborative.
